It would sound like a pile of crap...get some performance mufflers.

the wife's suburban recently blew a hole in the exhaust just behind the cat and it sounds like......an exhaust system with a hole in it.

Two things would happen (1) Lose power, I have Flowtech Warlock mufflers that allow you to uncap the exhaust at the muffler, and when I unplug 'em I notice a big drop in low end power. (2) A bunch of exhaust fumes will probably enter the cab.

Well go ahead if you like carbon monoxide in the cab and dont mind people thinking "What a POS" as you drive by.
