As long as its clean, and never used you should be fine. Plastic is plastic, it should be alright.

i was going to ask the simple question as to ,,,,,,WHY? but it sounds like you are doing it just as a joke or something. I was going to say if you need a container, heck Wally world has those big blue 5 gallon containers, i bought a few of those and use them for when i go camping, fill one up with purified water, and the other with tap water for cleaning up and such.

Not hardly. By your logic, the frame of a glock is made out of the same material a plastic coke bottle is? Riigghhhttttt...

Just try it, and if we never hear back from you again we will know not to try it.

i think he was referring more to plastic in general, not the way it is processed for it's intended use.

same plastic as what the local barrel manufacture uses for their food grade barrels, and special chemicals, ect.... i was trying to get them to make me some 30 gal and 55 gal barrels in red, so the gas station would let me fill them up.... but this is what i know from friends that work there...

    That's a little harsh.
Plastic fuel cans are made from cross-linked polyethylene, the same stuff that most water cans are made from.

Just be sure you drink from the right one :yikes: :yikes:
