Picking up my 3/4 axels tommorow out of a 74 GMC. I have a turbo 350/np203 right now but plan on replacing it with a sm465/np205 out of the same truck. So the question is would it be worth getting the rear drive shaft from the truck and have it shortend for my blazer. I already have the original drive shaft that is now a bit short do to the 4" lift so either way I need new drive shaft and just want to find a way to save a few pennies.

Should be cheaper to shorten. If you are changing the Trans/TC now, then the yokes will match. Cost me $75 to shorten my rear shaft.
