I've seen this question on this site before, but after searching, I can't find the answer. I've got a 1980 K10 1/2t truck, SM465/NP205. I just swapped in a front D60, and rear corp 14bff. What U-joint do I need to mate my driveshafts (front & rear) to the new 1 ton axles? Thanks everyone!

I am not sure about the front, but when I put my 14BFF in the rear it took a Napa part # 348 u-joint, it's a conversion joint that has small cups on one side and big cups on the other that fits the 14BFF so you can still use your 1/2 ton driveshafts. The front would probably be the same. The # 348 has the outside lock rings, if yours has the inside lock rings I believe it is a # 447.

The truck is an '80 1/2t, with the original driveshafts as far as I know, the front axle is an '85 D60, the rear axle is a 14bff from a '75 Suburban. Would that make a difference for the part numbers? I'd like to get my truck movable by the end of this weekend, I hope.

front should both be 5-153x which is 1310 series
rear DS should be the 5-153x
and dif should be 5-178x which is 1350
I would check out a 5-460x for that one

to run a slightly cheaper joint reove the 5 prefix and x suffix
