Background: four inch lift just put on, transfer case lowered 1.5" and driveshafts still look short. I have put her at full droop via forklift and the driveshafts (both sliip yoke) look like they are about to fall out. No splines visible, but real close. Is this okay or do I need to make a trip to a driveline shop. I hate to do that, cuz in about 4 months (money saving) I am going to install ORD's doubler which will require all new shafts. I just don't want to be a safety mishap waiting to happen. Hope to here on this.

I have a 83 Blazer with a four inch lift 700r-4 and a 208 case. I lowered my case about 1in or 1 1/2in and I have had no problems for 5 years.
