I just finished removing both drivelines to replace U joints. Now I just don't know how to remove the two U joints that are in the CV Shaft on the rear of the front one. It has some small plastic pins but were destroyed when trying to pull them out.

How do I remove the U joints on the CV joint?

    Thanks for your help.

I have heard that you can take a propane tourch and melt the plastic keepers out but that never worked for me - best way I have found is to take a cutting tourch and cut right across the center of the yoke. The rest of the U-joint will come out with a few taps of a small hammer. Thanks Nike in Mo

Those ones are a mother dog. Everyone says that you can just heat 'em up and they come out. I was NEVER that lucky. I just spent a couple bucks and had a shop get them out.
