I didnt go to the beach but I did 2 round trips to Terrace hauling something over 14' wide. the unladen return trip was 16hrs total time.
    roads were great.
I thought it was fairly unpopulated and boring (nothing near as bad as driving in Alberta) until you started getting close to Prince George or near the Terrace end along the river.
from PG down there is a town or city every hour or few hours.
tRusty and I and a couple others live near Vancouver.
if you need assistance down this way feel free to call.
I have a toll free number if you need a safety net.
