Drove an Excursion today...

    ...and was NOT impressed. Even with the V10, it didn't feel able to get out of it's own way. And look out ahead when it's time to stop...
    Seats were pretty comfy though. The passengers seemed to like it, although they had a slightly nicer ride waiting where I dropped them off:
    Canadair Challenger 604
    That's not the specific aircraft, just the same type.
    Here's an example of what the interior probably resembled.

    Basically a Super Duty with extra body/interior weight. I don't like them either, but then again even though I can go finance one right now , I'd rather drive my 21 year old Blazer to work and trail day in and day out /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif

    I know 3 ex- excursion and expidition owners. All 3 people now own GM Full size and are far happier with their rigs.

    My dad has an Excursion, and, the tires on it lasted 55,000 miles. Firestone Steeltex.

    My dad likes to drive a set of tires until all the steel cords show thru too /forums/images/graemlins/doah.gif
