I'm not going to get it, too much for me at the moment but local yard has it for sale for $750. No idea on ratio. He wanted $850 but he said he'd take it down to $750. Its in a trailer where most don't go so I'm not surprised he hasn't sold it.

Good deals are only in your mind....

If it is worth it to you and you are happy, then it is a good deal /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I asked about a SRW D60 from a ford or dodge one time and the guy told me that if I could find one in his yard I could have it for $150 and he'd pull it. I wouldnt know about a DRW axle. Personally, I wouldnt even touch it for that kind of money. Kinda like the yards wanting $350 for a stupid 10 blt. /forums/images/graemlins/ignore.gif

i think he's talking about a front axle, whereas you're refering to a rear axle surely. . . no way you could get a D60 open knuckle front for $150.

    I aquired a open knuckle D60 for $300.

so is 750 a GREAT deal? probably not probably decent, but its cheaper than what ive seen some ppl dish out for a dana 60. I've been known to aquire D60's for cheap and just turn around and sell them for double.

$750 is too much. I'd give $500 for it.

Ok, I wasnt thinking when I read his post. I think when he said it was DRW it threw me off. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif And yes, I was talking about a rear axle.

If you need a D60 then yes, it is worth it.
If it is only so it can sit around for spare parts then no, to much.

I could use one but its not in the budget right now. For now its a D44 with 38s, and a small block not pumping out too much, we will see.

Dual Rear Wheel(dually). I think I may have found a donor vehicle now! Buddy of mine was telling me about it today, crew cab one ton with 454, SRW, with a stake body. Hes not sure if its 4x4. If it is I found my Big Block and Dana 60.
