    Dually\'s and big tires ??

How big of a radial tire can you run on the stock wheels without the rear tires rubbing each other? I see a lot of tires offered that are roughly 12.50 in width, will these rub? I know spacers are available but I'm curious about tires without spacers.

Why not just put the single rims on it and run those really wide Mickey Thompsons /forums/images/icons/grin.gif

If I buy the truck I'm looking at, it will strickly be a daily driver/pull truck for my trail truck but I would like to spice it up a little. I'm thinking about a 4" lift and 6 x 33's, just enough to give it a nice look but still a functional tow truck.

theres a newer dodge dually that rolls around my area on 35 mud terrains all the way around...dont know for sure but it doesnt look like hes running spacers but those rear tires look really close to each other...

i think it can be done...plus it looks badass when a trail truck is getting pulled by a dually thats jacked up too

Pretty sure you have to use spacers or different wheels on most duallies to get anything wider than a 235 on there.

4x4Nut builds dually trucks alot, has a shop called Kats Kustoms
he has had rims custom made, I tried to help him search for sources one time
he will probably know the answer to this as he has done at least 2 on 44s
with 33s you can usually find a narrow set for the rear and run some fattys up front
you really do not want the tires to ever run against each other
