It wasn't really a 4x4 . The episode the Girl car thieves were stripping cars , they assembled the general with whatever was around to drive it again . Probably using the torsion bars and some blocks ( the car guys backstage ) , lifted the car enough to fit some 235/75/15 or so Ridge Runners on it .

I like that episode because the "tow" the girls in short shorts behind the lifted General slowly :thumb:

forgot the Y in they "tow"

BTW , at that age , we thought anything bigger than car tires were huge . I remember when 33's may as well been 44's to me :thumb:

me too. i came across an old issue of Petersen's a few months back from '94 or '95. that's when i really started wanting a 73-87 K truck. i had my "build list" all made out. Skyjacker 12" lift kit, 16.5 x 12 wheels, and 33 x 12.50 BFG muds. :haha:

better then my first "build list"

    91 Explorer
    12 inch lift
    8 inch body lift
    44 inch boggers

At the time I had to thought of any other mods motor, drivetrain, or brakes...oh to be young and stupid
