All of the lift kits I've seen come with a set of shocks. Is it necessary to replace the shocks when doing a lift? Let's say I am all stock, and I want a 2" lift, then do I need to replace my shocks for the 2" lift? I have a nice set of bilsteins for my stock ride and I don't really want to dump them...

as long as you have enough travel and length to them youll be fine...when i went from a 6" lift to an 8" kit i didnt change shocks cuz i had enough travel in them...they are still on it to this day...

if they are long enough to not top out when flexing keep em, otherwise replace them.

Yeah, if you can flex without them bottoming out then they will be fine.
