does anyone live there? if so, can you give me some information about life there. i have been all over the country the past year and i think i want to move around durango. i am looking to start from scratch and possibly get into excavating. i have lived all my life on long island, so being landlocked might be wierd, but i love the scenary. i am just afraid it might be too expensive to live. any input would be awsome.

Ummm... I'm not sure if anybody lives down there. Try posting in the Regional Section. Perhaps some Grand Junction or Northern New Mexico guys could help ya.

I remember staying there once and it seemed pretty neat, but I don't remember much about it.

    Good luck! :D

If you move there be sure to go visit my brother. He's buried up on the hill. Absolutely beautiful part of the country though. It's been years since I've been there but I remember how pretty and laid back the town seemed to be.
