dust shields on a D60 front....

    They are not the ones that go around the rotor, I am talking about the round ones with 6 holes in them that slide over the steeing knuckle studs where the spindle/caliper mounting bracket attaches to. Does anyone else have these? What are their purpose?? And did you keep them or junk them like the rotor shields? Thanks!

    Iv got em on my 44.I cut off the big shield but I left that one alone.I think its there to help keep water n stuff out of the bearings.
