We've been migrating VHS videos to DVDs. Well, the ones that the copyright owners of the material allow us to. The pile of crap hardware that creates these DVDs sets the copy protection bit.

We then use a piece of software that ignores (well, gives us a warning) the copy protection bit to copy the DVDs.

We'd like to eliminate this step by taking that copy-protected DVD and putting in a DVD duplicator. Does anyone know of a DVD duplicator that will do this? I doubt they exist but I figured it'd be worth a try.

Sorry to hi-jack your post, but what is the difference between a DVD duplicator, and a DVD burner set ups for computers?

A reader and a writer in a standalone appliance. No computer needed.
