Steve, is this something that's on the "to do" list, or am I supposed to be using an email system that supports all those IMG tags and HTML codes? /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Me too. This is new. I use outlook, which supports HTML E-mails no problem. Something must be wrong with the way the E-mail notifications are being created, maybe the header needs to say "HTML" someplace or something.

That could be a little bug that needs squashed.

    Fixed mine.
    Go to My Home

Then click edit on the bottom of the page for "Subscribe / Unsubscribe from receiving forum posts by email, change message notifications, etc."

Under there make sure you have "In plain text" marked for the "Do you want your emails in HTML format or plain text."

I think the "HTML format" option is if you check you email through a web site.

Post up if this works for you.

You shouldn't have to do this if everything is working properly. E-mail programs like Outlook can convert HTML. And it used to work before some mods were made to the site. I think it must still be a bug, but this is a good temproary fix so stuff is at least readable.

I assume you can't see images and stuff this way?

I'll go test it now. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
