Easiest way to replace motor mounts?

    How do yall go about replacing your motor mounts?

    I jack up the motor and secure it with a block of wood or something and then I go to it. You can get the motor up pretty high. Oh yeah, you want to undo the two big motor mount bolts before you jack it up. but I guess thats a gimmee.

    If its the clam shell style, dont throw out the shell around the blew out ENGINE mount. You probably have to drill out the rivets if its stock. Dont mix up the alignment to ensure proper installation of the new mounts. The new mounts should come with zip ties in place of the rivets.     It's pretty simple you might wanna go with poly mounts, maybe a nice purdy orange red and paint the mounts the same color while your at it, while you have the out..... /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
