I'm starting to think that the Dana 70 dually I have in the back is too heavy and a bit of over kill. I would like to down grade (not much though heheh) to a 14 bolt Full Floater.

So what are the things to look for to make sure it's a FF and not SF?

14BFF will have axle hubs sticking thru rims like the D70. 14BSF will look like a 12 bolt or 10 bolt with no hubs sticking out from the brake drums. 14BFF isn't really much smaller than the D70 you now have. If you want much smalller you can try and locate a D60 FF rear. Many were available in Fords and Dodges over the years and even some GM Vans had them. Not sure why you want to swap out the D70 though.

Well, the one I have is really massive because of the dual wheel set up, and there are no disk brake conversions that I know of, especially for the dually.
