scored a 14bff. dude said it is 4.56. how do i verify that? 41 teeth on the ring gear. 2 total rotations of hubs = 4.5 rotations of the yoke. thanks

Count the ring gear teeth (41) you said, now count the pinion teeth and divide the ring gear by the pinion gear and that's your gear ratio.

If you pull the diff cover there should be a series of numbers stamped on the edge of the ring gear. They will tell you the ratio and the date of manufacture. Post up what is stamped on the ring and we can tell you what it is.
