NC also has Uhwarrie National Forest, several miles of trails, and I believe a National forest near the coast with trails?

George Washinton National Forest in Va.

Globe outside of Boone NC (private land, many folks ride on it, not sure who really has permission)

Jefferson National Forrest. About 45 min. outside of Roanoke Virginia, It's a great all around trail. Rocks, Mud, etc.. Just be sure you have a halfway decent vehicle, my blazer had a tough time at first on 35's and open diffs. My buddy's TJ which was bone stock got pulled 3/4 of the way through the trail by my blazer.

The trail is 7.5 miles long and last time we went it took about 5-6 hours to run.

    It's a great little trail.

Beasley Knob OHV area,GA; Rich Mt,GA; Anderson Creek,GA are places that are still open to wheel that I have been to. Outter Banks,NC not real hard wheeling but fun. Last time I was there I was in a mini-van and had to stay on the pavement-it caused me great pain. The area is still open as long as you don't go when the turtles are laying eggs. Emerald Ilse,NC used to be open to drive on if you bought a pass (I still have an old one from when I lived there on the windshield of my '80) but I don't know if it still is.
New places I want to go this year would be Jellico,TN and Windrock,TN.

Potts Jeep Road, I did not find out about it till about 3 years ago. Appearently it wasn't that difficult a few years back but it's gotten pretty good the last few years.

Nope, I was talking about Jellico, TN. This is where at least one of the EROCC events is held. IIRC, it was also the site of one of SFWDA quaterly meetings this yr. The TN side of Tellico (Tellico Plains) is closed to us, it may soon be open to ATVs, though. I go to Tellio, NC (Upper Tellico) a couple times a year.
