easy ?: manual hubs

    do i need a conversion kit to go from auto to manual like some others do (ie: Toy, Heep, etc.)??

    I don't believe so...I went from the Auto hubs to Warn Premiums with no conversion kit required.

    From what I understand, is if you have the auto hubs with the 3 cover bolts then you DO need a conversion kit. If you don't have those hubs then you Don't.

    If yours is a stock 83 10-bolt axle, then no.

    Harley is correct - I just checked in the Warn catalog - if you have the 3 hole hubs then you would need the conversion kit. Otherwise, you just swap the stock auto hubs for aftermarket versions...

    I appreciate the info. My buddy swore up and down that I needed a conversion kit but I also was "pretty sure" that it was a straight swap! I have the 5-hole autos.
