OK, I'm going to put rebuilt calipers on my frontend today and the directions say to use silicone to lube up the brake components as I put them on. I just got home from the parts store and really don't want to have to go back but I don't have a tube of silicone lube laying around anywhere. I did find an aerosol can of silicone spray lube but it evaporates really fast and I also found a tube of white lithium grease. Which would be better to use? Thanks.

I've always used Lubriplate white grease with no problems, but silicone spray works great too. Just be careful not to get it on the linings or rotors.

    Dos mas Tecates!!!

Cool. I went ahead and used the white lithium grease this evening to put everything back together. Thanks for the advice guys.
