what would you do if you sold a item. then no contact or payment. then you waited the time required to recive final value credit and get listing money back. but only to recive email from the deadbeat 2 months later. thay said i was out of the country and didnt know i had the high bid. can i still pay for the item if you still have it.

i still have it and dont know what to do.

MORE INFO: i did all the ebay stuff of reporting them. thay sent me this email threw ebay . and i could still let him pay it threw ebay if i decide to do so. i dont sell out side ebay .

Report em. they should be responsible enough to deal with what they bought.

re-list. I wouldn't sell outsid of ebay if a bidder orginially was bidding on an item and wanted to purchase outside of ebay.

Just relist the item and tell him he is welcome to bid on it. Be sure to include a "Payment must be recieved in 7 days" Clause in your auction. That way you can offer it to another person that bid on it if the deadbeat does not pay.
