I am about to go get another ECM for my TPI swap. I am having problems with a no pulse from the injectors and my next test is to try a new ECM and see if that solves my problem. I also need a spare anyway. (01227165)

I was wondering if a reman. unit from Checker is ok? Or should I try and find a used GM unit? Checker units are $90 which I find to be a pretty good price. What should I use? Thanks

The GM units shouldnt be anymore than the one from Checkers. AC Delco actually remanfactures them to keep the cost low, I know a few months ago we got one at work for an 89 R-30 and the PCM was only $90 or so.

I'd get a used GM one that was "known good".

Might be able to put you in touch with someone that might have access to one, or you might check www.thirdgen.org classifieds.
