egr vacuum leak

    I have plugged everthing I could find around the q-jet and manifold, could the egr be leaking? '85 350 q-jet

    <font color="green"> Could be, stick your finger in the side of the valve and push the diaphragm open when the engine is idling, it should make the engine stumble and nearly die. Also - a mechanics stethescope is a great tool to help find vacuum leaks. When you get the tip close to the leak it should be very obvious
