My egr valve was gone and a piece of metal was used to cover the hole it was in on my 82 K5 6.2L Diesel when I bought it.
I was wondering if I should buy another one and hook it up or if it doesn't matter if it is there or not. And other than emissions is there any reason why I should get a new one?
