Just when you think you have it all figured out. When you think it's all as simple as trucks, women, fast cars, booze and fishing. You have to get super soft towels and bedsheets that are like silk made from butter and puppy ear fur. I used to think such extravagances were for the fruity, the lame. No more.

I agree with him, those sheets and towels are way nice. Don't knock it till you try it.

As we age, we realize that being a "tough guy" isn't as much fun as being comfy as much as possible.

So, your "tough guy" card may have expired, but I'm in the process of printing off your new "comfort is worth it" card. Welcome to the club, brother!!!! :thumb:

Hey now!!!! I can still be a tough guy and wear my silk boxers.:eek1:

Seriously though. It takes more effort to be comfortable than uncomfortable.

Like my T-shirt says; "The garage is MINE. You can have the rest of the house".:haha: :haha:

I don't know about some but I like a fluffy towel when I get out of the shower, if nothing else for the simple fact that they absorb more. I also only like to sleep with plain white cotton sheets. No prints or colors on mine cause they make them stiff, oh and no goddamn lacy crap either that scratches.

soft towels suck. I find they dont dry near as good as the 2 dollar walmart towels. Every towel I own is good for atleast a layer of skin every time. Soft sheets on the other hand rock.

I am old and I am cantankerous.

When I go to the store for supplies it is for ammo and honing oil.

When I get out of my bed I want my feet on a bear rug, then I put on my itchy scratchy wool socks.

When I get out of the shower I shake the water off like a dog.

I don't want soft silky sissy stuff. It will be a damn cold day when I trade in my Lava soap for apricot scrub.

I do not know much about the towels and sheets but I can speak for the comfort side of it. I recently (6-7 months ago) bought a new sleep number bed. If I have to turn my tough guy/man card in for it I will. That bed is the best thing for my back since my back surgery. If the shhets makes that much of a difference maybe I should get some for the bed LOL.
