going to put a serpertine kit on my 71 k5 with 350. A friend that has street rods said I should just put dual electric fans in place of original mech fan. Has anybody had experience with this? Will it hold up off road? I was thinking of running stock with a optional electric before I got the suggesstion. Any advice on what brand of fans are the best?

I put a cavalier electric fan on my truck and it works great. Most people put electric fans on their off road rigs and dont have problems(unless you wire it wrong). I think summit racing sells temperature switches too. /forums/images/graemlins/usaflag.gif /forums/images/graemlins/burb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/usaflag.gif
