I'm about to install an MSD 6A ignition system in my Blazer but don't know where to put it.....The only place it looks like it will go is on the inner fender well, but even there it would need some sort of bracket made. On the fire wall there isn't room either due to the air conditioning stuff. I want to put it on Saturday morning, so if you guys could reply quickly it would be appreciated. Also, any pictures of where you put yours would be great. Thanks !

I helped my friend install a 6AL is his K5. He made a bracket to mount it on the fender well out of aluminum. Sorry, I cant get a pic though(he lives out-of-state).

Well, I cut the inside out of my glove box and mounted mine on the a/c box in the cab. Just open the glove box door and there is it. Go to www.off-road.com and go to the chevy section, look for the article on the Crane Ignition for pics.

i put mine on the drivers side innerwheele well, you can use shims or washers to level it off,the main thing is to put it as far from exhaust manifold as you can.mine has been on for 5-yrs now never had a problem.goodluck..

I was able to lay mine flat right on the inner fender well near the windsheild washer fluid tank and put 4 bolts through the fender with the nuts on the msd side.. easy as can be..
