Does anyone know how to go about eliminating an external voltage regulator type alternator on a 1969 Chevy truck by replacing the alternator with a newer internal voltage regulator type. I would need very detailed instructions as I am electricaly impaired, and seem to get into jams every time I mess with wiring. If nothing else I would appreciate knowing where I could find a website or manual with this information.......Thanks.
