i have a 85 k5 w/ silverado package, and i had it painted and they took off all the emblems. and now when they put them on they all look good except for the silverado one over the gas cap. its kina dangling, and i try to push it back it but wont stay. and i think they used some type of glue to hold it on.
how could i get this to stay? is there a type of glue or something?
    thanks

at the body shop if the barrel clips wouldn't work any more we would use 3m double stick tape. it looks like a foam tape stuff that is about 1/8" thick or less. it seems to work excelent. just put it on the emblem and trim it with a razor to look like it is made for it and put it on.

3m makes a glue called molding and emblem glue that works very well, you should be able to pick some up ar your local parts store. That is what i used when i repainted mine.
