I was informed, by the previous owner, that the six cylinder in my 1969 Blazer is a 292 C.I. I understand that this model came stock with a 250 C.I. six cylinder. Is there a way to identify with positive proof which engine is in this truck? I am not going into the engine to measure anything. I'm hoping there are numbers or a physical means by which engine I.D. can be made. Thanks in advance for any help.

UPDATE: I found the engine casting numbers on inline.org. The engine that is in the '69 is the original 250 cubic inch.
