What is the easyest way to change my engine mounts, I do not have access to a hoist. I have heard of using a big bord and a jack but I am worried it might crush my oil pan, I have a 6.2l Diesel, would there be a problem?

I have used a hydraulic jack under the harmonic balancer without any problems. I did use a 2X4 in between the jack and balancer

It is just as much fun to build it as it is to bash it

Dont lift your engine by the harmonc balancer!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You can damage the balancer or in the worst case bend the crank.
Just put some boards under the pan and jack it Up that way. I have changed mounts many times that way. I have never hurt the pan.
