I have a 76 Blazer with a 350 but what is odd is that my motor has no hole for a fuel pump on the block and has an electric fuel pump on the passenger side frame rail this truck has 73k original miles and has a new edelbrock carb can anybody shed some light on this does not seem normal for a 76.

What is the casting number on the back of the block, or the suffix code (if present) behind the alternator on the block?

Sounds like a much later block, or something entirely different /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Is the dipstick on the left or right??? If its on the passenger side then its a later model block and is not original.
