Engine Swap

    What would it take to swap a '94 Chevy 350 into an '88 K5? What would i have to buy, if i already had the engine? What would i need? Thanks

    Just put it in, I'm not %100 sure but I think all of the harnesses will just bolt plug up. I think they pretty much kept everything the same from 87 to 95 1/2. Try it out. Have fun... /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

    Want to keep it TBI?

    *Probably* have to ge the wiring manual for both trucks to figure it out, but perhaps not. Might be able to bolt your TBI right in place, but any of the advances made since 1988 (ECM speed perhaps) would be lost in the swap.

    I know people on here have put post '91 TBI motors in these trucks, just not sure if they will chime in and answer your question.
