I have a 77 with 350/th350. Thinking of updating the drivetrain. Have a 93 GMC Sierra 350/700r4, had a El Camino 4.3/700r4. For stock config, I like both setups and they have been reliable. What does it take to use FI or TBI and to bolt in a 700r4 trannie?

Hey, all you guys with the 700R4. Are they worth the effort to install in the place of a 350. I've been looking into it for my 2WD. Any suggestions......Thanks!

Although I have not personally done this conversion yet, I am planning it for my 74 Nova (sb350,350 turbo). I have linked a good website if you are considering the conversion. They do seem very knowledgable. I also ran into a guy with a 60 something Nova (roughly a 383) with a blower and a 700r4 and he says that it has held up to about 4 years so far and 10 sec. passes on the quarter mile. I was just worried about reliability, but he answered it for me. - Steve
