engine trouble?

    when i step on gas it kind of hesitates when i get up to speed and step on it right about when it kick down samething idles real funny kind of like its not getting enough gas also heard a tapping noise could it be an exuast leak if not what else it is an 87 350 with tbi

    oh yeah forgot the engine light came on for a minute then went back off

    If the check engine light came on you need to check for trouble codes.
    Find the ALDL plug under your steering wheel.
    Click this link:GM trouble codes for more info on how to bring up the codes and read them.
    It helps a lot to know what codes the ECM is throwing to Diagnose the problem

    My 87 TBI does the same thing when it starts to get low on gas...you might wanna put some carb/fuel inj. cleaner the tbi could be dirty.
