Oh hell yeah, I will. Running up to Estes Park to eat breakfast, go hiking in the park, come back out to relax to the fireworks show over the lake. Gonna be a blast.

Some terrorist trying to blow up parliament is hardly the same as you winning your independance!
Most kids these days probebly don't know why we have fireworks on November the 5th. It's just an excuse to make a lot of noise and watch a ton of money go up in smoke!

Here on the compound the U.S. flag was the only one flying yesterday (it's the 5th now). They had a lot of activities and events all around the compound, but this guy was either working or sleeping. I think the office weenies enjoyed it all though. Tops In Blue even made an appearance.

I will have to admit, though, lunch at the chow hall was outstanding. Steak cooked up like some brisket, BBQ chicken, cornbread, pasta bar, and a giant cake. mmmmmm

gotta love the 4th. As if BBQ + beer + explosives + hot weather eye candy wasn't already a recipe for the best day ever... you have the greatest concept ever realized by mankind, individual liberty, being recognized for all its greatness. :thumb: :usaflag:

Weeeeell ... I wonder what y'all redcoats were saying about the American upstarts back then.

See, that's the similarity. I knew that blowing sh!t up was involved, I just couldn't remember the excuse :D

I reckon one of our generals probebly looked through his field glasses at the front line of American troops, at one end he saw the outlaw Josey Wales, next to him was ol' Angel Eyes, a bit farther along was a BIG man with True Grit in his voice, they were all listening to a guy in a beaver pelt hat who suddenly proclaim. " gentlemen...start your engines!" and our mighty general thought to himself.......

    Sod this, I'm off!:haha:
