Most of you probably heard about the tornado that came through Enterprise, AL on Friday. Most of you probably don't know that this town is one of the three towns that surround Fort Rucker, where I am stationed. I drove through part of the destruction area yesterday and it was rather significant. Today I will be working as a volunteer helping with the cleanup. I will take a camera and let you all see some of the aftermath.

My dad lives in Samson and his girl friends daughter (I think) was in that school when it got hit. Lucky though, she was OK, just some bumps & scatches. Glad you dodged the bullet!

Me too. The sirens were going off on post for nearly an hour. I have heard them before, but never lasting that long. I'll get the photobucket link up this afternoon. Wife needed the computer last nigh before I finished and I fell asleep on the couch.

I'm from Southern California. I have never seen a tornado in my life. Think i would rather have 50 earthquakes a year as opposed to one tornado.
