The wife and I bought a used '02 GMC Envoy the day after Christmas. Suppose I'm taking a risk that
SUV is a 4 letter word on this site. I'll risk it and ask if anyone knows where any basic aftermarket
parts are available for these things. Just looking for cold air induction and better after cat exhaust. Did
a search on Envoy and then on Trailblazer but didn't come up with much. That 4.2L Vortec I6 at 270hp
is a really decent little performer.

I don't think anybody is going to flame you, but I am not sure how many would own or know what you are looking for. I am sure there might be at least one, but you would get a better chance if you post it in the later generation forum. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
Although I am not sure if after market has caught up with the new engines though. You could try gibson for exhaust, they seem to cater to newer model SUV's very fast, and K&N for Air intake needs.
    Hope this helps.

www.truckperformance.com they have lots of stuff, not certain they have what you want but its worth a look see. I always find the mufflers on those things funny cause they look like they should be big tipped rice rocket mufflers. You know the big can at the back of the vehicle.

    Sled,
You might be on to something with that site. They actually
offer a couple of cold air inlet systems. One of them being
    a K&N FIPK type system.
    Thanks,

    I'd take a I6 Trailblazer for a daily driver! /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
Not bad looking for a newer SUV. Its GM. The I6... woo power/torque. There is a trailblazer with an I6 in the rallyes and was doing really well for awhile I guess. I dont keep up on racing (or sports for that matter).

...but an axle that goes through the oil pan? That just turned me off. Anyway, nothing to add but my smart a$$ remarks.
