well, it finally happened, someone rammed my K5. It was sitting out in front of my parents pad, not doin much and a lady who was trying to park in front of my neighbors house backed up and hit my rig. My KMA bumper vs her rear window + the sheetmetal just below the window. doh! I got her info, and felt bad for her... but ya gotta wonder how she missed my rig, esp with the bling front grill. Anyway, check the pix...

hard to see in these dark/stormy pics, but 98% of her rear window has been shattered/broken out and she has a nice dent in the sheetmetal just above the "escort" logo. My rigs damage? I couldnt even see any chipped paint on my bumper... /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

    that's GREAT! /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Thanks for reminding me that I need to get my bumper built for my truck. That looks like dan's lack of carnage after sandwiching his truck between my red blazer and his wife's minivan. /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

Thank god it was just a parking mess up on her part and not you rear ending her. Praise the big beefy bumper /forums/images/graemlins/bow.gif

I am still shocked that people cannot see something like that and still hit it. During all our ice and snow some moron in a Nissan hit my K5 sitting in my driveway and he was going forward, drove right into T-roys solid steel bumper. Must have been mesmerized by its beauty /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

sandman loves that brightness feature in photoshop. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I dunno how this chick missed my k5... some of the glass was thrown pretty far under my rig though (a few bits under the tranny/tcase area... which makes me think she hit it with a little bit of speed... maybe did the old "hit the wrong peddle" move? BTW, is that strictly a woman driver thing? My sister hit the wrong pedal once and hit my dads truck with her car... and when I was in the Marines I chick who never drove a stick went wild with the wrong pedal and hit like 3-4 cars in a parking lot. Never heard of a guy making that particular mistake... lol! not trying to be sexist, just makin' an observation. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Must be an older woman driver thing /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif I have yet to mistake which pedal does what and panic and press harder trying to get it to stop. Seems to be a trend lately with the blue hairs /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

dunno... now that I think of it though, my sister actually has made that boo boo atleast one other time... she inadvertantly took my dad's old cherokee over a tall curb, front end airborne and into some mud off the side of the road one time too. I'm thinking this might just be a woman driver thing... /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif
