    sorry this may be a bit late, just saw the post today, i'm pretty sure ford made the bulk of their fleet vehicles flex fueled in the past couple years, just means putting seals in that dont get eaten away by the alcohol in the e85, apparently the computer readjusts for the different fuel and away you go, they seem to do fine, not really much different from the regular taurus'...

    i did pick one up, real nice 99 gut a good deal. its just to resell. seems to run fine on regular. thanks
