I just finished putting a 75 cab on a 76 k5 frame. Everything went very smooth and it dosnt look to bad. need a bed of some sort. Any suggestions about a bed/flat bed would be greatly accepted. Sorry no pics yet.

I am also running into the problem of now having two differnt titles, one for the pick-up cab and one for the k5. I have to go down to the State patrol office and have it inspected. Dont think its going to pass the inspection. They check everything. Most of which I never had, horn, e-brake, ect. Hopefully they will let me slide.

I have thought about it and I am still thinking about it.
My problem is in CA SUV's and pickups have different registrations, different licence plates. So I will be doing some legal research, but I know it's easy for me to make the switch.

    I second that /forums/images/graemlins/angryfire.gif
They don't care about smog, they just want more money.
They will always find a way to screw you even if you're not poluting, could be a visual fail, or just not the way they want it to look...

I put a 54 willys p/u body on a 1980 blazer frame. After some mild abuse the frame rails bowed out and started to crack. I had to add a x-member just behind the t-case. I figured the frame relied on the one piece body for extra structural support. Has this happened to anyone else? Or is my frame just weak from all the RUST!

easy newb they make stepsides for the same reason they make an avalanche, or an s-10: people want to by it.

if you wanna get pushy...i dont know why they made a blazer...too much x-tra carpet to keep dry.

    all in good fun
