Actually I have one of those except mine does not have a chevy body on it. It has the original tug body. Mine is 4wd w/ 4w steering. Has a straight six in it. I have wondered if i took all the weights off of it would it make a good mud vehicle. Right now it is very heavy. It will move pretty much anything up to a DC-10.

Are those planetary axles? I remember seeing one of those on ebay a while ago and reading up on the. Basically tractor axles I think.

    I Want One!!!

That would be the balls for plowing driveways with 4 wheel steering!--and you could haul anything in it to the scrapyard without fear of overloading it!--I WANT ONE! :cool1: :cool1: :D

I used to have a license (issued by a civilian gov't employee, to a US Marine, to operate Air Force equipment...) to operate that truck. IIRC, they're ZF axles, and they are planetaries; can't remember the ratios. But I do remember that 1st gear low-range and the 6.2 against the governor will get you about as fast as a brisk walk....
