I did for the first time last night...but here's a warning for you, they ask you what type of vehicle you will be driving.

This is how the convo with the hot girl on the phone went...

Amanda: Hi, what can I get for you?

    Me: I'll get....blah blah blah

Amanda: Ok, so what kind of vehicle will you be driving?

    Me: .....................................Long pause............................

    *thinking*

    .........longer pause......

    A full-size pickup.......................GMC

Amanda: Ok, your order will be ready in 15 minutes

    :haha:

I worked at Outback for over 3 years, and am technically still employed by them ( I can go back to work there anytime I want). During my time there I did everything. I started out bussing tables, I hosted a little cause it was so damn easy, I did take-away, served tables a lot, and did maintainence.

In my opinion, it was a great company to work for. The owner of mine was a great guy and all the people who worked there were awesome. Outback has everything planned down to the wire. Pretty much everything is made there everyday. Prep guys come in at 6 am and dont leave till at least 4 everyday. They dont buy pre-shredded lettuce cause they cut it by hand, they dont buy pre-shredded cheese cause they cut it by hand, hand cut steaks, homemade desserts, all salad dressing are homemade...i could go on and on about it.

Anyways...after working there, I can say that especially for a chain restaurant (or any restaurant for that matter) they really do a good job of maintaining a high quality product. Servers there attend food "classrooms" to learn about food usually once every 2 months..and they have to be able to write the complete menu out word for word on blank paper.

Im actually in school right now majoring in hospitality and tourism management....which could line me back up with Outback...maybe I can own my own one day.

Oh, and I always used to drive my blazer to work there. Everyone there loved it. I stopped driving it after someone stuck an ice pick through the side of my 37" mt/r. It was in a pretty rough neighborhood and i can guarantee whoever did it wasnt white.

I can guarantee you should re-think that statement.

I dont like steaks from Outback. Their cyclone pasta kicks ass though. That might sound gay but I could make better steaks from a rat than what they can cook.
