does anyone out there run their exaust straight ou the back?
I know that it can go out behind the tires, but i kinda need the pipes to be as straight as possible.

I plan to run dual 3inch straight pipes with dynomaster super turbo muffs.

any problems fitting around the gas tank?

Sure you can do it but you wont want to drive with the back window down. The reason most people run them with the tips coming out on the sides right behind the rear tires is cause it dissapates the exhaust fumes and alows you to drive with the rear window down and not gas yourself.

Mine is Single Pipe on the left side out the back and it works really well. I don't know about the right though. It doesn't gas me at all; top off, window down or what have you.

    Good Luck

Ive got mine running straight back. I had to run them a just outside the gas tank. I haven't had to much trouble from exhaust fumes, but I haven't had the top on yet. I can see how the fumes would get sucked inside with the top off and window open.

I used to have my exhaust out the back but it tended to get beat up on my departure angle.

I routed mine close to the recevier hitch so it would not get pinched into a kazoo by the rocks. The fumes come insise the cab with the window down by not with the top off. BTW it used to run out behind the tires but I could smell fumes with the rear window down

Anybody run thiers out in front of the tires. I am about to do exhaust on mine and was pondering this very question of where to exit.

I am pondering chopping mine off and angling it so it exits in front of the rear tire... if kept up high it would hurt clearance... and it would keep it out of the way of suspension stuff. I already had to chop 1.5' off of mine when I put the revolvers on...
