When at idle, my subs hum with the engine but when the RPM's go up, it goes away. I have a Fosgate Punch 700S, true rated at 896 Watts and two 12" Fosgate HE2's in a box. I'm not currently running a capacitor.

are you running resistor plugs in your engine? resistor plugs will help cut out the noise.

I'm using normal AC Delco plugs. I did see an RFI eliminator in JC Whitney to put in my amp power line...anyone have experience with these?

Make sure you RCAs are not running next to your power wire and try and solve the problem without the filters first ;-)

1.Move the ground to a new and better spot...
2.Almost all whine and excesive noise comes from a bad ground
3.As said above run the rca's away from the power wire also will help but if you move the ground to a better point that should take care of the problem ....mike
4.Take off the rca cables also and tighten the outer ring on the cables if the connections are loose that will also "pick up extra noises"
