Well, the farm consists of five acres in city limits, two horses, a dog, a cat, and neighboring farms. The guy whose field separates my aunt's house from his had a bull die sometime yesterday or last night. It's already bloating, with legs to the sky, and I don't know if he got it taken care of yet. If not, it's going to be coyote central, which means I might get some trigger time on my 12 gauge.:waytogo:

Just hope nobody calls the cops... :doah::shame::whistle:

got a similar excitement story, can i tell?

this past weekend at my friend's ranch, some kids spooked some cattle in a pen and one ran into the fence and broke its neck (a cow, not a kid that is). so then it was to work with:
    9mm, to finish the job
    tractor, to move and hang
    sharp knives, to you know...cut
and a sawzall :hack: . that's right, its not just for fender anymore.

although i must say, it would work better if the meat was frozen. the blade tends to stick to warm flesh. but it was in the 80's.

    What a thrill.

Took a walk with the spotlight, the beef was disposed of, and all I lit up was a possum or something. Rather disappointing. :( Foggy too, what with being right on the river.
