I didn't think GM made a 12-bolt front axle, but when I tore the axle down to put gears and locker in it, my dana 44 stuff was too small. the carrier has 12-bolt marked on it. this is a much beefier axle than the 44, he ring gear is bigger, as are the outer axle shafts (a little). of course on flat top knuckle on the driver side. pass side diff, complete, missing one hub, extra rotor and hub assembly

Could it be true? [IMG] If so I think this ranks with a Loch Ness sighting![IMG]

Seabass was wise to the post and asked about it on the general 4x4 board. I gave him my best CK5 reply I could think of[IMG][IMG]
