I have a 89 Blazer with stock exhaust, and I am concerned about the crossover pipe that hangs below the transfer case skid plate. Every time I go off-road I smack the exhaust pipe on something. If I route the exhaust closer to the transfer case will it heat up the ATF fluid and screw up my transfer case? Thanks for the help!

I built my own custom crossover to cure the problem. I used the Y pipe that came with my Thorley Headers and modified it to run under my rear drive shaft. I am also using the slip yoke eliminator so this may not work for you. I may also have some other pics if you need them.
